Just received a call from this dentist office cancelling my appointment stating, “the owner told them just today that they will no longer be accepting new patients with my employer.” I have had this appointment for over 2 months and they are calling me a week before to cancel and expecting me to find a new dentist within that time. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE. If you’re a new patient, I’d be finding somewhere else no matter which insurance you have because they clearly don’t care about their patients time and energy. If you’re a current patient and thinking of switching, I’d also be finding a new dentist because if they will pull a stunt like this, they more than likely would cancel your appointment and insurance in an instant and expect you to find someone new or pay out of pocket.
