Nice staff and doctor, but their billing practices are questionable. I've been a diabetic for 15 years and my eyes are fine except for typical age related degradation. This practice did nothing different than all of my previous eye exams, yet they claim it needs to be billed under my medical insurance because I'm diabetic. This results in me paying more than TWICE as much as I would if it were billed under my vision plan. Every other practice has billed my eye exam under my vision plan with no issues. Even the medical insurance representative I spoke with disagreed with their billing practices, they called their billing dept to change it, but they wont change it and my insurance can't force them to change the way it was billed. This practice even claimed its "the law" to bill this way which is not true. This practice is taking advantage of patients with existing medical conditions that are not impacting their vision. Needless to say, I wont be returning.
