Here’s a version that keeps it professional but still very sharp: After 10 years as loyal patients of Verona Pediatrics, our family was abruptly dismissed from the practice over a billing question. We had always shown up on time, followed recommendations, and trusted this office with our children’s care. When my husband questioned a charge after multiple visits in one week for the same illness, instead of having a professional conversation, the practice responded by sending a dismissal letter. No phone call. No discussion. No attempt to resolve the issue. It was shocking and deeply disappointing to learn that a decade-long patient relationship could be discarded so easily simply because a parent expressed frustration about a bill. Families deserve transparency, communication, and compassion — especially from a pediatric practice. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things in the end.
