HANDS DOWN THE MOST CONFUSING AND INCOMPETENT BILLING DEPARTMENT. Dr. Bharara seems to be a caring and knowledgeable medical professional. However, I will not return to this practice simply because the billing department is incompetent and the billing practices are confusing. If this medical office is outside your insurance network, I would strongly advise you to stay away. Even though I was certainly expecting to go out-of-pocket to a moderate degree, I received two large "surprise" bills from VSI and when I tried getting an explanation from the billing department, they engaged in double-speak and made the situation even more confusing.
