Vision Source Eye Center Of The Triad

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SCHEDULING... I was considering not writing this review even after all the waste of money and time but Vision Source-Eye Center of the Triad had the nerve to send me a bill for $4.13 a couple of days ago. I cannot let this pass! I am so extremely disappointed with this eye care practice. Total incompetence. Let me begin with: I have had myopia since I was 12 years old. With Dr. Martinek, I walked into the office having myopia in both eyes, but walked out with a “perfectly healthy” left eye (20/20 vision). But 5 months after that visit, when I could not see at all, I walked in with her “20/20 vision” in my left eye and left with myopia again. Go figure! Meanwhile, she had me on “dry eye” treatment however charging both my eye and medical insurance for unprofessional and incompetent care. I still had to have a THIRD eye exam this year because I could not see after Dr Martinek's second exam. I know mistakes/typos/calibration errors can happen, and I… appreciate honesty. The people in this practice, starting with Dr. Martinek, are unable to take responsibility for mistakes but quickly blame the patient. Josef, the optician/administrator, is condescending and disrespectful. It is truly embarrassing. I prefer driving 90 minutes to see my eye doctor in Wake Forest and have positive, respectful, quality care.
