West Idaho Orthopedics

I visited West Idaho Orthopedics to seek treatment for shoulder pain. I was told I have a torn rotator cuff, and surgery was recommended and was scheduled. The surgery date was 1.5 months from the date of my first visit. They called 3 days before the surgery and cancelled the surgery. I was told that my surgeon was not compatible with my insurance/hospital and that I would have to find another surgeon. They should have caught that much earlier in the process. I had to start over with another surgeon at West Idaho Orthopedics, but nothing was moving forward. After visiting the office four more times over the next month, I was finally told that surgery could take place in 5 weeks. All told, from the date of my first visit to the date surgery was scheduled, was a total of 3.5 months. I felt that was unacceptable and unprofessional, so I ended my relationship with West Idaho Orthopedics. I feel that my time and money were wasted.
