I scheduled an annual with Dr Crouch. The front desk made me pay money before I could be seen, but yet had no balance due and my annual is fully covered by insurance. The amount that they made me pay was not equal to my copay, so the amount was not even logical. Being that I was forced to pay a random amount upfront, it flagged me to ask the nurse and the doctor. I was told by both that everything is covered. They asked to do an EKG, not because it was needed but just because it would be a baseline if anything ever did go wrong. I confirmed that it was not an additional charge. Again I was told that nope it is included. "Oddly" enough the bill comes and is for that exact amount that they made me pay upfront and not my copay amount. I had to make two calls to billing before I received a call back and took about 2 weeks. Their mailbox was full as well, not surprisingly with how they handle business, so it also took multiple attempts. I am being told that the EKG DID have an extra cost. I… called back to ask to have the doctor give me justification as to why she lied. I was passed off to an admin who cut me off and sarcastically said the doctor has no idea about billing. If you want to be forced to pay random amounts to be seen and then lied to about costs and then billed for whatever additional items they want to add on, this is the place for you.
