My last appointment, I was still voicing my concerns. He said we’re gonna put you in Invisalign’s now to straighten your teeth. I was blown away!!!! I was scheduled to get them removed on 7.17. I told Dr. Bowden I was moving & needed my Ortho documents signed so I can transfer everything when I got to Dallas. When I met him that day I had all documents in hand. He said he would fill them out. When his assistance removed my braces, she said oh he’s not here. I said what about my papers I fly out 7.21? She said he’ll fill them out and you can pick them up Friday morning. My flight was scheduled to leave at 8pm. I called that location and Chatham several times. I reached out to Dr. Bowden via cell and no response.
I flew to Dallas and came back to Chicago on 7.28 for other documentation’s I needed. I called Dr. Bowden’s office several times since the 17th. I was given the run around. I was told they would call me back. It was all lies. I called today and finally he calls back. He told… me oh you’re done with treatment so I don’t have to get the paperwork filled out. I said, “wait a minute! I had these papers in hand on 7.17 you said you were gonna fill them out. I need them so I can reach out to an orthodontist in Dallas and get my retainers when I’m done with treatment.” He’s like what papers? I said the transfer papers! I said did you even look at them? He’s like no I didn’t. I haven’t looked at them at all. I said wow! I can’t believe this. He was talking over me and claimed to fax the documents to me. I said you don’t even have a fax number on me? He’s like I’ll email it to you and it’ll come to your phone. I spoke to him at 2:06pm on 7.28.
I have yet to hear back from Dr. Bowden or assistant! It is now 7:00pm and they’re closed! I haven’t received my DOCUMENTS?? I’m flying back home to Dallas! They don’t have to worry about me again! Had known I would’ve been treated so badly, I would have considered another professional establishment. The dental assistants never stick around, Dr. Bowden is not monitoring your progress, the dental assistants are. He gets upset when you question him regarding your treatment or if something doesn’t look right. He doesn’t have a problem with taking your money but he has a problem with doing the job. I will never recommend anyone coming to this place. Save yourself the money, time and energy. I wished I could’ve written a better review. I was hoping to shine light on this establishment in a good way. It was a welcoming environment in the past. I’m heartbroken by the outcome.
