Please get a second opinion..and not from one of his associates. Waiting doesn’t save lives .

I went to Dr. Raboy for 9 years for treatment of kidney stones. Needless to say after almost shutting my kidneys down I was done with him and his office staff! Completely rude and obnoxious is how to describe him and his staff. Never would I refer my worst enemy to him.

My visit with Dr. Raboy was the first visit in many years where i felt the physician listened and understood my situation. Highly reccomend.

Dr Raboy performed two painful prostrate biopsies on me over period of several months followed by seeding of my prostrate. I started to have blood and blood clots in my urine after the second biopsy procedure. The doctor said that was normal and the bleeding would eventually stop. Well the bleeding continued after the seeding and when I attempted to make an appointment to address the bleeding the office told me to get another doctor because Raboy was no longer accepting my insurance. Its over a dozen years later and my fried prostrate still bleeds and I can't tell you enough of hardships I've been through.As I write this I am dealing with more bleeding and I will probably have to get another catherization.

Dr. Raboy has treated me as a patient for the past 7 years. I have thought he was an excellent doctor during that time. He was always professional and precise. Since moving into Northwell it appears that he is burning out and no longer happy with what he is doing. After I explained I waited for 2 hours for my appointment, he un-apologetically told me that scheduling was "hopeless" and that he has so many patients that I could "go find another urologist." He finished by telling me that he could "use a little help - okay?" Rude, rude, rude. If you don't want to practice anymore, so be it. But don't take it out on your patients.

Dr. Raboy surgically implanted bladder mesh into me. 4 weeks later the mesh eroded but Dr. Raboy told me it had not. It has taken 3 additional surgeries by 2 specialist to remove the eroded mesh.
