Dr. Becky J. Wade, MD

Dr. Wade was my PCP for 5 years. Dec. of 2021 I told her I had been experiencing knee pain for about 6 months and it was getting worse. First we eliminated the statin but that did not help. In May of 2022 I told her it was very painful, I had to physically lift my leg to get into my car and could not walk without pain. I wanted a referral to an orthopedic doctor. She referred me for exrays to do so then the office informed me that I had to have PT first on 8/5/22. I applied for a PPO and it began 1/1/23. Immediately I went to an orthopedic doctor. The first thing he did was order an MRI. The results were a complete tear of the ACL and oblique tears to the meniscus.

I’ve never bothered to write a review but this doctor is most definitely the WORST! I didn’t see the other reviews until after my appointment. The words rude, dismissive, condescending and arrogant were spot on with how she is. I made an appointment for my annual physical. She never examined me but instead sat on the other side of the room behind her computer asking me what my concerns were. I told her I feel fine but just wanted the annual physical to check my cbc, hormones etc. she started writing an order for a mammogram so I mentioned I didn’t want to start with that as now it’s recommended every two years not annually and also that the 5 year mortality rate was exactly the same with or without annuals. She barked at me immediately saying, “ THATS MISINFORMATION, ARE YOU A SCIENTIST?!” I told her the information was directly from the largest study ever done with 20,000 women. The Chocrane study out of Canada. She madly started typing to try to disprove what I had read then I… told her my purpose in going there was to try to take care of my health and hoping I could find a doctor I could communicate my questions or concerns to and expected a mutually shared goal of open, honest communication and respect. That followed with her asking me in an extremely unprofessional and childish manner what I wanted! I asked to start with a cbc panel and we’ll go from there. In stating again I wanted to have a thorough exam I casually said I did notice my eyebrows are thinner so I’d like to have my thyroid levels included as part of the normal blood work. She then reluctantly handed over the lab slip and ended the visit. When I left the front desk person asked me for a $35 co-pay. I was so flustered and upset from the extremely combative and aggressive attitude from the visit I just paid it and left quickly. When I went to change my primary physician with my insurance company they investigated what I was billed for as my annual exam is free, they found she had billed for non-scarring hair loss! As if a little eyebrow thinning would prompt me to make an appointment! and was the reason for my visit. So Becky is not only a rude, arrogant person but is also a thief. I’d like my money back as it was from me under false pretenses. Tricky . BTW, when I’ve read review I tend to think maybe the complainers are negative types who are not happy In general if there are 5 star reviews as well. Definitely changed my view on that! The bad reviews were 100 % correct! Negative star rating and complete disgust for this md.

Dr. Becky Wade is not capable of being a true doctor...her and her office staff do not return calls, nor to they give her or her assistant any messages. And, they lie about giving them to her! When I told her how the prescribed medicine was not working, her comment was "you know, this pain will never go away"! Are you kidding me???? Is this a comment that a professional would give??? After getting a second opinion on my situation, I discovered he diagnosis was completely inaccurate! Scary!

Brilliant! precise and accurate in her diagnostics. Very happy with Dr Wade.

Quite possibly the worst doctor and human being I have even met in my life. I wished I had known about this website before seeing this so called doctor. RUDE, ANGRY and JUST PLAIN MEAN. she was dismissive right from the start. Yes I admit I am a bit overweight ( about 85% for weight). That does not mean every symptom I describe is due to my weight. It felt like the moment Dr Wade stepped into the room, she had already judged me and my symptoms. Highly do not recommend this doctor unless you like to be belittled. Horrible doctor, horrible person overall. Of note, I saw another doctor and was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia that was confirmed by endoscopy from a GI specialist. No Dr Wade, my stomache pain were not due to my weight and/or lack of exercise.

Dr Wade was rude, ill tempered and dismissive of all my medical issues. She seemed to make conclusions about me before I had a chance to finish my complaints. Extremely arrogant. I realized all these bad reviews about her are true. Stay away! Will be seeking care elsewhere.

I like the way she listens to me & works to resolve my health & medication issues in a way that best suits my needs. This, however, does not mean she will not stand her ground & firmly but sweetly insist on something she knows is best & to that I owe her my life. She knows I need to know the "why" & takes the time to explain. I trust her which for me means I end up actually taking my medicine & doing the things I should, because if something isn't working for me, I feel very comfortable discussing it w/her.

Dr. Wade is an excellent physician! I would recommend her to any of my friends, family members, and co-workers. Dr. Wade provided plenty of time during my visit to answer my questions and concerns. She's the best!

Becky is the doctor I've ever had. Very caring and thorough.

Dr. Wade is a compassionate, professional and skilled physician. She is an intuitive listener and makes one feel cared for, and cared about.
