Dr. Gruber diagnosed me with melanoma. He saved my life and couldn’t have been more caring. He took the time to explain my options to me and made me feel hopeful. Thank you.

Dr. Gruber made it seem like my condition was very minor (and I'll be honest, my case is very minor compared to others, but I wanted more insight and tips to prevent it from being as bad as most people suffer.) He told me that my HS was caused by my birth control, and quote "to make better choices in life." This is the most obscene and unkind thing I have ever been told by a doctor. So...It's a better choice to be acne free and have kids when I'm not financial in a position to do so, rather than have acne and practice safe sex? This isn't the 1950s. No female wants to hear anything about her choices in her sex life when trying to get help for a skin condition. He also tried to claim my tongue ring gave me oral yeast infections, but upon inspecting my mouth, he said "oh well no, you don't have it....but it could happen so take it out." There was nothing I said that even brought up the subject of yeast infections. Seems to me like Dr. Gruber has a problem with young females who have sex… lives. Do better SMH.

Rushes you out. I didn't feel as though he cared. Talked very fast. Answered me before I was finished talking. He honestly just wanted to get in and out as soon as possible. I will not be going back.

He had no clue what was causing a rash on my arm that eventually caused scarring. He blamed me for causing it by scratching it. The rash was there before I scratched. Would not seek his services ever again.
