Dr. David H Keene, MD

Dr. Keene has been my sons doctor for the past year, but I have now chosen to leave his practice. I feel like every time I am there, I am waiting well over 30 minutes and up to an hour to see the doctor for 10 minutes. Never do they apologize for their delay or seem to even care. They ask us as patients to be on time, and even have the right to cancel your appointment if over 15 minutes late, but dont mind if you wait. I do like Doctor Keene, but cant be bothered to go to someone who does not respect your time.

We have two daughters, 6 and 2.5. Dr. Keene has been our pediatrician since the beginning. She has shown to be unusually caring, and has given us a lot of his time, exploring all aspects of health and environment, not just the "hard facts". Would recommend without reservations.

I could not have been luckier to have Dr. Keene as my son's pediatrician. As a type-A personality, OCD new mom, there could not have been a better match! He is genuine in his care for children and spends a great deal of time with his patients. It was not at all unusual to get a call later in the day or week from him to see how my son was or to add additional thoughts to previous conversations we had on care. He has a solid understanding that pediatrics goes beyond just medical examinations to the psychological ramifications of (the especially new) parent. We have since relocated to the midwest and Dr. Keene is one of the things I most miss about Los Angeles (hands down)!
