Dr. Douglas Hilbert, MD

My experience with Dr. Hilbert was very pleasant, he took the time to listen to and address my concerns, he ordered the appropriate tests etc, was thorough in his assessment and I never felt like he was rushed, and actually listened to me, it was a refreshing change from previous primary care experiences I have had. Highly recommend.

Had my first visit with Doc Hilbert and he is great. My wife and I are both new patients. He takes time to read your history and talk to you, as opposed to down to you. He has a great flexible approach to your care and listens as well as talks to you.

Dr. Hilbert is a joy to know. All of the care we’ve received at Pasture Medical Associates has been stellar. Dr. Hilbert is no exception. Since my spouse and I and are both patients we usually schedule our appointments back to back. This is all the more important because of our new baby girl. As a result all three of us went to see Dr. Hilbert! For my spouse he allayed some fears resulting from post partum complications. For me he was able to guess, diagnose and counsel accurately what everyone in my age group must face. I am now on a new exercise regime and a little more attentive of my diet. I’m actually looking forward to the follow up.

Dr. Hilbert made me feel comfortable and he was easy to talk with about my health issues. I never felt rushed. The exam was thorough and he even checked my bone density. He discussed exercises to maintain my bone health. Dr. Hilbert also talked about my blood pressure issues and gave an excellent overview of what the medications can and cannot do for me. He promptly posted lab results on the portal. I am so pleased to have Dr. Hilbert for my physician.

I just transitioned to Dr. Hilbert’s care and very much made the correct decision in choosing him as my physician. His professional demeanor is pleasant and his methods regarding both gleaning and analyzing medical information are laudable. In sum, Dr. Hilbert offers a very high degree of concern and expertise to his patients, and I am more than pleased with his approach to patient care.

Hilbert was a good choice for me. Frank, to the point, evidence based explanations. Did not avoid my questions. Promptly posted my lab results. Recommendations were frank -- weight, diet, & exercise. Zero wait time. Spent time listening and answering questions. Will recommend to friends and associates (though that may make my wait time longer).

Dr. Hilbert listened and seemed knowledgable in discussing my health issues. Most impressive was his timely follow up with lab x-rays and recommendations. Even called me! I thought that surely it was to tell me to get my things in order.

Dr Hilbert is an excellent doctor and does a very thorough job of examining his patients. Unfortunately we had a difference of opinion regarding the medications to treat my high blood pressure. I basically refused to take the drugs he wanted to put me on. It was a matter of living vs existing for me. In the end we decided to part ways.

Dr. Hilbert truly listens to you and takes what you say seriously.
