Dr. Douglas Ray Schumacher, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Schumacher probably as long as he has been practicing. I honestly would never consider going anywhere else! Very personable, understanding, and has a great bedside manner. I could not be more comfortable with him. Will continue to refer others to him!

Is an actual human. He is not the insurance trained quick in and out without much comfort or real help. He listens. He asked questions. And I don't know that I've ever seen him look at his watch while he was meeting with me or my wife. He isn't old school doctor battling through all the new insurance and Healthcare rules as much as he can on behalf of his patients.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Doug. I’ve been in his care for probably 30 years. He gives you as much time as you need to explain what’s going on and listens to your concerns. He does whatever it takes to get to the bottom of every concern. And he is a great sense of humor and always has a joke. I can’t imagine going to anyone else for care. I certainly hope he outlives me : )

Dr. Schumacher is kind and very analytical in his approach. He helps me walk through a very complicated chronic illness and I will always be grateful.
