Dr. Douglas A Taranow, DO

Dr. Taranow was very professional and straightforward through every step of the process. I've been really pleased with the results so far, and he's been really helpful throughout the healing process. I guess this is a small complaint, but I think maybe he could work on his bedside manner some. Every meeting with him just always feels so formal. But if you want a doctor that is going to be very professional and you know you're going to get high quality work, I would definitely recommend Dr. Taranow.

He was incredibly knowledgeable and it was obvious he was passionate about his patient's well-being and ensuring we get the results we want. Don't even consider going to anyone else if you're in the tri-state area. Dr. Taranow is a miracle worker, and that's coming from someone who's had a botched job before. Everyone in his office is incredibly nice and he's truly got your best interest in mind.

I met with Dr. Taranow to discuss possible surgery for a TT and Lipo, he is extremely through and explains everything clearly. He lets you know if you expectations are realistic. I work in the medical field so I can tell you Dr. Taranow knows what he is doing! I will be having him as my surgeon.

Dr. Taranow is the only surgeon I trust in the city. His free consultations are incredibly thorough, and he explains every option in detail so you know what your best choices are. He always has your best interest in mind and won't do a procedure if he thinks it's dangerous or anything. I personally had a breast lift and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I'm 43, and it was only about a week before I started feeling and looking normal. Highly recommend. You need to trust your plastic surgeon, and Dr. Taranow is someone I can say that I trust 110%.

I absolutely adore Dr. Taranow! He did such a great job on my breast lift. I had gotten a Bilateral anchor breast lift and it has only been a week and I already am in love with the results. I originally came in with really droopy, deflated, saggy breast after breastfeeding my 3 children for up to 1 year each. Dr. Taranow was very honest with me about what options I had in regards to which surgery I could have done. I really wanted to get the least invasive surgery but with the level of sagginess I had, it would have been impossible. He made me feel very welcomed and relaxed while he answered all of my questions about scarring and what results I would expect to see. He was very funny whenever I would get nervous and informative whenever I had questions about his experience working with African American skin and diabetes. His staff was very friendly especially his receptionist Beatrice, she gave me her cell phone number to call at any time if I had any questions. She even helped me… figure out which financing options would work with my budget. They even provided me with a recovery package to help me heal faster. The surgery went well and lasted for about 4 hours and The nurse helped me to walk to my husband's car. I had an excellent experience.

I had consultation with Dr. Taranow yesterday, is totally free but i did get all my questions answered like i would expect with a $200 consultation! He carefully examed my breast which was filled with saline 270 cc for 8 years, pointed out the asymmetrical of nipples (i have more breast tissue on left side and it due to where implant placed, my left breast nipple looks obviously lower than the right one) and suggested he could lower the cut on the left side to make it symmetry by exhange them with the new silicone implants. My two biggest concern for old implants were rippling and capsular contracture, he carefully list out all factors that could contribute to those, and honestly told me that i just have slight of those symptoms. We also discussed what the best pricing for me and treatment after the surgery. I felt bad took him and so long answer my list of questions, but he was nice and patient, such great lecture! His secretary also very nice lady, really look forward to have him… as my physician, and totally recommend him and his staff to everyone!

I had liposuction with him years ago well after having another child I went to another surgeren what this guy who ever one say is great and yes he is Dr. T did a crap job uneven lumpy my new doctor had his work cut out for him because doctor T mess me up I used to think he was great now after going to a great doctor and everyone ask for and know glad I went to this new doctor and not back to Dr. T he not worth the money
