Dr. Doyle C Phillips, MD

Our entire family goes to Dr. Phillips and has for years! He is kind, caring and compassionate. He listens to all of your concerns and, yes, wait times maybe a little longer, at times, but that's because he will not rush anyone out. The staff is awesome, also. So, if you want a quick visit from a doctor that doesn't listen to you, go elsewhere. As for me and mine, we are sticking with him!

Dr Phillips has been my doctor for many years. He is friendly, compassionate and thorough and truly listens to what you have to say. He always tries to get to the root of the problem and both he and his friendly and efficient office staff (they have also Bern there many years as well) are always available when you need them. With this COVID-19 Pandemic it looks to be a medical issue that is going on for quite a while before seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Doctor Phillips is taking all precautions to keep his staff, patients and himself safe during this pandemic. With his own family also being in the medical field it's a two-edged razor. I'm grateful and thankful that he's my family physician that I have been with for 23 years and will continue even though I have moved out of Marion County to Citrus County............Dr. Phillips is an excellent physician and he stays current with medical happenings and can handle most all medical issues and if he can't he directs you to someone who can. He's not your typical physician............he takes time with each patient as to their needs.........and has an understanding of each patient and He's such an easy going person, great personality with humor! If a patient doesn't understand he will take the time to explain whatever the patient needs an… explanation to. In my opinion when God created Doc...he broke the mold! That's how fortunate a person is to be in his care! I know he will eventually retire and if I'm still here on this Earth I'm hoping that he will still be in his Practice of Medicine!

Dr. Phillips is the best Primary doctor I could have chosen. I moved here in 2009 and was extremely lucky to get him. He is interested and concerned about the health of his patients. He LISTENS.....YEA! That is a BIG PLUS these days. He doesn't talk AT YOU he talks TO YOU and will answer any question you have. He cares and you can feel that. He makes you feel comfortable and takes the time you need, when you are in his office. No one enjoys having to go to the doctor, but with Dr. Phillips there is no stress and I leave feeling like I am getting the best care possible. The staff and Nurses are the perfect complement/paring to Dr. Phillip's style of patient care. I do not see this at any other doctor office I go to. So, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Phillips to anyone who wants the best primary care team in Ocala! Betty

Dr. Phillips is a very kind and compassionate doctor. He will spend time with you and he is a one man doctor office which seems to be fading away as practices get bigger and bigger and patients get lost in the shuffle.

Very good doctor. Only complaint is the wait time even when you have an appointment. Last visit, after 45 minutes beyond my appointment time, I left.

My mother was a patient of Dr. Phillips for years before she passed away. He is also now my husbands physician. I began going to him last year. Only complaint is wait time after arrival for scheduled appt. time.

Dr. Phillips is one of the best GP's ever. I highly recommend him.
