This is the second time in 10 years that I’ve been treated by Dr Hershman. He is highly skilled surgeon- his expertise has given me my life back. I appreciated the thoughtful process he uses to design an appropriate treatment plan . His skill is beyond reproach . and his kindness and caring nature is an added bonus.

To begin with he is a caring, nice man! Professionally he has done a few surgeries on my knees, all with perfect results. I have been to his Lenox Hill office as well as his Pro Health Office in LI, and the staff in both are terrific I live in Florida now, yet if any of my friends need knee service , I recommend Dr H.... He is a throwback Doc. The very best.

My family has known Dr. Hershman for over 20 years. He took care of my wife's knee problem and is now treating mine. I can not say enough good things about this fine orthopedist. He never fails to take the time to explain exactly what one's problems are and administers the necessary care.

Excellent doctor. Great, easy going demeanor. Office staff nice and very accommodating as to appointments. Both my husband and I go to him. I couldn't walk due to extreme knee pain-- 2 years ago-- doing great with injections every 6 months. His PA Michele is wonderful as well. Highly recommend him. Wish he would do more than knees!

Our families experiance with Dr. Hershman has been nothing but a wonderful experiance which has been fueled by his sincere care and love for those that her treats. Our daughter ruined her knee during a sporting event. She has been under his care for the past year. After 4 surgeries Dr. Hershman and his assistant, Dr. Demeo, has really become a part of our family.They make you feel like you are thrie only patient and that nothing else matters but your medical situation. They have even opened thier office for us on holidays and called us late at night to follow up.Aside from their wonderful "bed side manner" he is an extrodinary and special doctor with his talents.... the top in the country.We, my daughter, has been very blessed to have been treated and cared for by Dr. Hershman!!
