During a colonoscopy I awoke and tried to get the attentiong of someone. I lifted my head and could see two men in a booth having a jovial conversation and not looking my way. I finally screamed and that got their attention. They then gave me more narcotic to knock me out and when it was all over I went home and vomited. Not a good experience and will never forget it.

Dr. Eaker is the best in the business. He very well may have saved my life.

If you consider going to a GI doctor, do not consider Dr. Eaker, very bad bed side manner, i.e. rude. I was pushed off to his physician assistant who is a little nicer but the last experience with him, he never returned my call. I would stay away from this doctor.

My daughter has been suffering with chronic diarrhea fro quite some time we eagerly pursued the appropriate tests for her which were negative. I have seen my daughters weight plumment and have called the office multiple times and felt like the issue was not treated with urgency I thought it should be. In one week she has lost 15 lbs. her nausea ans bowel issue undiagnosed to this date. I think twice about returning to this MD. I am now looking elsewhere.

Both myself and my husband have been under Dr. Eaker's care and have been very impressed. My husband was diagnosed with esphageal cancer and Dr. Eaker was very forthcoming about what needed to be done. He assured us that he would be there to help us get the urgent care that was necessary from that point on in order to treat the cancer. My husband also has had several procedures by Dr. Eaker and he has always been very professional, as well as his very efficient staff. I would recommend him to anyone.

This is for anyone who may concider Dr. Eaker as their GI doctor...My experience as well as my husbands experience with Dr. Eaker was very upsetting as well as frightening. He was very rude, aggressive, unprofessional, sarcastic, and I truly feel he is not their for his patience nor does he listen to his patience. He made unacceptable remarks/comments to myself & my husband while I was in my hospital bed . Dr Eaker diagnost me with two ulcers which followed with rude comments that were uncalled for towards myself as well as my husband while I was laying in my hospital bed. It was quite scary, truth be told. I will never have him treat me ever again and I refuse to refer Dr. Eaker to anyone I know. I have nothing positive to say about this Doctor. I have recently sought out another GI doctor since the incident. I feel very scared for any of his current or possible future patience's. Beware of Dr. Ervin Y Eaker!!!!!
