Dr. Ethan Roy Allen, DO

Rated 6stars and higher. My vocabulary is insuffiicient to produce an accolade worthy of this great man!

Thinking back over 25 years ago when a fellow colleague suggested I see her Doctor for my migraines- little did I know that I would continue being a patient and be absolutely impressed with the expertize of Dr. Allen and his staff. After several months of appointments my migraines disappeared. Dr. Allen is one of the easiest to talk to, kind and shows a true compassion to help cure his patient. Dr. Allen not only deserves every one of the the four stars in each category at the right, and if there were another star marking five I would also mark. I thank my fellow colleagues for recommending Dr. Allen and would recommend him to all that needed a honest, straight forward, accurate, and compassionate Doctor.

Dr. Allen is a lively doctor with years of experience. He has great bedside manner, which is one of the characteristics of a great doctor. However, I found his office staff lack professionalism and organization. Yes, this is a type of small business doctor's office. It is drastically different from a big-business model like Kaiser but I actually prefer the staff at Kaiser because they are more friendly and professional. If you're looking for an experienced doctor, this is the right place. However if you are looking for excellent customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere.

i was in a great deal of pain. with dr. allen and his wonderful ability to work my back so that it released the vertabrates that were crushing the nerves. i feel so much better, and he gives medicine not over doesing you but just enough that when your not able to get to him u dont have to suffer the pain. i was tossed out a van windshiled hit pavement at 70mph due to a drunk driver i was a passenger, the drunk hit where i was sitting.. after all i had gone threw i was beaten with a wooden bread board lets just say i have had so many injuries to my body.. that no one cared to help me. this wonderful man when i fell on some raliroad train tracks had compassion on me, heard my tail of woo and put his wonderful hands on my horrable pain and helped it to reside. i do hurt. only because i have lived in pain my whole life, there is not much you can do for brain damage. gee wiz. but for pain like what i have this man knows his business, thank you god for this wonderful person, i wish his… ability was in all who want to help others, while they suffer stinking pain. as for me i hate to know i hurt like i do. and i am sorry for everyone who does hurt.

Good osteopathic medicine, good family style practice, and really reasonable pricing. This doctor has multi~generational families of patients, a loyal following. If it could be said that he has a shortcoming, it's that he relies a bit too much on his instinct from 40+ years of practice and doesn't order tests as much as perhaps he should. This is great if you are a cash patient, because you know you will not be paying for too many tests, but if you have a serious condition it might be best to seek a doctor who will get on top of the problem immediately. But for a sore neck or back, he's great; for colds and flu and other general practice concerns, he is good; and his fees are very reasonable.

this is the best doctor that ive seen in 50 years,he works wonders on you,and really shows that you care,not just your money$$$
