Dear Dr. Adolpf, I believe you've probably done some good in your life especially in your missionary work. It's been roughly fourty years since we've seen each other last. I'm writing this now because I couldn't find a site to write a review on until now but mainly I need to get this off my chest. What you did to me during an exploratory surgery has left me suffering immensely over these years. There are too many ER visits and in patient stays for me to number. I came to you with abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting from my primary care position. You were supposed to perform an exploratory surgery and you said if there's anything wrong you'd find it. You removed a large portion of my stomach and small intestine using a procedure that was outdated. Why you did that no one knows. If you had looked into my history you would have seen that I had never had an ulceror anything else in my entire intestinal track. In my history you would have seen that that was verified by multiple… gastrointestinal specialists. The actual cause of the problem was a restricted abdominal aorta and restricted Iliac arteries. You did that resection to the horror of the assistant surgeon. You just weren't gonna accept anybody's input. Within several weeks I had to be rehospitalized after I acquired a very high fever and extreme abdominal pain in the upper right quadrant of my body. You told my primary care physician after examining me that I was there for drugs. This time it was actually due to you somehow closing off the duck to my gallbladder causing an infection. After that surgery I was actually operated on four more times fixing complications that were seemingly from what you did to my intestinal track. One of those was actually due to me bleeding out, because one of your surgical clips pierced an artery. I think of you often while trying to deal with all the complications that were caused by your hand. A gastroenterologist that I have seen along the way actually asked me "why would someone do this to you". For that I have no answer. I do know I wasn't the only one that you injured during your short time in Winfield Illinois. Lucky for you and Central Dupage Hospital the only way anyone could have sued you would be to sue the united states government because of your missionary status. Not only have I suffered physically but my family has suffered financially. I see you've retired comfortably in Florida.
