Dr. Janet Marie Robison, MD

I have been going to Dr.Robison for 7-8 years or more. She is the BEST Dr. I have ever been too, has an excellent bedside manner, always willing to listen. She performed a knee replacement on me 2 years ago and have had more compliments on my "scar" . I have seen people "butchered", not me, Dr. Robison does all the sutures and stitch's. I am honored to be her patient.

Between myself and my father we have seen Dr. Janet Robison for about 12 years. She has always treated us with kindness, very knowledgeable in her field and it is the one doctor appointment that I never dread going to. I have recommended her to friends and they have been pleased also.

Very rude. Very crass and dreadful bedside manner. Have seen other surgeons at Jewett who were incredible but Dr. Robison was the exception to my great experiences there. Herself as well as her aid, Kimberly were so miserable that I went to another Orlando Ortho group in the area where every single experience has been phenomenal. I thought perhaps Jewett Team was having a bad day but when I called back the next week with questions, they were just as awful. Very disappointed and needed to share my experience truthfully. Would never recommend Jewett or Dr. Robison to friends or family. Do your research and don’t settle when it comes to your surgery.

I had my ACL torn after I fell skiing. I went to the Jewett orthopedic center because I heard very good things about it. From my two consults With Dr. Robison I wanted to run away from Her. At the first consult she stated that she needed an MRI of my leg and that after that we could talk. I spend $40 to have an MRI order. On the consult, after the MRI results were back she wasn’t kind at all, she did not explained anything (I mean I didn’t even know I had something called ACL), she started talking about a bunch of medical Terms, I was literally lost, and then she said my assistant will come in, so you can arrange an appointment for your surgery. I even said that I had questions, and she said that her assistant could answer them. She didn’t say anything else ( I also paid $40 on that appointment for nothing). I was scared because I knew I had to had surgery, but I didn’t know why or how the process was going to be. I decided to have surgery somewhere else, I mean I don’t think anyone… wants to have surgery with someone that doesn’t even smile at you! You need to trust your surgeon, and I am not sure how can this be possible if the doctor doesn’t even explain what’s the surgery about. My advice will be to treat your patienta with kindness, most of us don’t know what you are talking about, and we are scare because we don’t know what happens next!

I had knee surgery last year and it was performed by Dr. Robinson. I have to go back today for my other knee to see if I need it done as well. I feel very comfortable with her and know she will make the right decision that is best for me. She has such a great personality and it helps when dealing with heath issues. It makes it easier and less stressful on you when dealing with pain. The best thing I find with Dr. Robinson she is so down to earth with me and explains everything in detail in terms I can understand. I would refer her to anyone 100%

In some 68+ years on four continents, I have dealt with scores of doctors, specialists and other health care professionals. Amongst these are a few who are absolutely true gems. Dr Robison is one of these gems. And she has not allowed success, recognition and other fine qualities to go to her head. You will see how easy it is to ask any question, discuss your worst fears or ask for any favors, quick fixes, etc. Very grateful to Providence.

Great doctor if you are willing to wait over 1 hour to see her.

I have a blood disorder and she was very knowledgeable about my rare condition. She did total knee replacement and I am doing great. I am very thankful to have found her as my doctor.

Dr Robison takes time to explain options for treatment and talks to you in terms that are easy to understand. She never appears rushed and gives you her attention as she listens to your issues. A+ Doctor!!!
