Dr. Joey Robert Gee

MUST READ !!!!! DR GEE was the best and no one in this network can compare. He has HELPED greatly with management of pain. I don't know what Providence Mission Heritage did to tick him off .....that made him RESIGN and is NO longer with Providence AND the neurology department is ASKING his patients to call their own insurance companies to Help find a new doctor to replace him. First of all that is NOT the insurance company's job to do so its Mission Heritage's Providence's job AND second of all there is NO replacing him because no one can compare. I'm speaking now with my insurance company as i write this and they're filling out a grievance because they cant believe that I was instructed to do the legwork to find a new doctor. GOOD luck to those that appreciated all the hard work Dr Gee did for us, it will be Impossible to find one as good as he is.

I saw Dr. Gee a number of years ago. I was having headaches and some mild neurological symptoms, such as loss of balance, transient aphasia, numbness, insomnia, and severe fatigue. They were impacting my career. He discounted my neurological complaints and dropped notes in my chart indicating that they were most likely psychosomatic. Well, as it turns out, my brain was inflamed. Another doctor found thyroid antibodies and diagnosed me with Hashimoto's Encephalopathy. I have since been treated with steroids and have improved. I would avoid this doctor unless you have something common and easy to diagnose.

Impossible to make appointment . Multiple calls resulted in no call backs. A month after my appointment still haven't been able to get prescription or replacement prescription. Next available appointment for neurological study was 7 weeks from first appointment

Of all the docs I've seen Dr Gee is the most caring human being I have come in contact with. His staff specially Sue. Is Gods sent. Of course at times you need to wait because he is fair to All his patients. I have had so many issues with my health and he never gives up on me. This is a very busy doctor that returns calls even if its on weekend and He's not on call. I would have given up a long time ago but because of Dr Gee I'm here able and happy to write a review. Thank you Dr Gee for your Humanity and Care

I met dr Gee, for my headache . He diagnosed me with tension headache But later after seeing better neurologist and do more test, found have something called aneurysm about to rupture though it was somehow late but I do not know why he take easy on all pateints and not doing proper exam. He has bad bedside manner and thick Chinese accent...

Waited for more than hour to see him, he was in a hurry to finish and get to next patient. Had to wait for more than 2 weeks to find out what were the results of my tests. Will not go back again.

Dr Gee is a very caring and professional doctor. He is one of the best neurologists in OC.

Came in, to see Dr. Gee for severe arthritis in my neck, with nerve damage / shooting pain running down my arm, and was told that I have "Carpel Tunnel" after tests???? MY PAIN IN MY ARM, AND NUMBNESS IN MY HAND HAPPENS WHEN I TURN MY NECK! It has nothing to do with my wrists.
