Dr. John Burt Checton, MD

Excellent doctor who unfortunately is retiring this month.A great honor knowing him for 17 years.Thanks for everything.

Been with him for years. He's good, he cares and he listens.

Very disappointed with Dr. Checton's lack of responsiveness. Was told that my mother would receive a call back on the same day and never returned call. He is not good at keeping track of medicines and has been unable to control my mother's blood pressure. He has TOO many patients and OFTEN there is a very long wait to see the Dr. I'd recommend avoiding and finding another Dr.

Dr. John Checton, M.D. is not only a great doctor, but he is also a gentleman and a gentle man. He took the "bedside manner" class and aced it. There are very few of these doctors around nowadays. He was very thorough in his questioning regarding signs and symptoms, and he clearly wants to help solve the patients' issues. He really deserves six stars.

The Doctor took the time to ask questions and then listened to your answers . He is very through without being over the top with tests that are ordered.

Wonderful caring physician. He often runs pretty far behind but spends as much time with each patient as they need and makes certain all questions answered. Wouldn't trust any other physician to cath my family members.

Almost did my mother in. After being my mothers doctor for years, when she needed him the most he could not see her in the hospital. Sent other people in his practice, who did not know her case. Over a year ago put her in hospice because there was nothing that they could do. Thank God she llives to tell the story. Think twice about using these people?
