Dr. John Harold Harney, MD

Have waited 3 hours to see him before..usually wait way more than an hour to see him. And the amount they collect is always different from what they say it will be.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harney for a very long time. There is no other doctor like him. I have never had an issue with staff because I have always follow their rules. He is a very kind doctor and always goes far and beyond to get you what you need. He has fought my insurance for years to get my medications and procedures covered. His previous MA was amazing and always got things done the same day unless she had to wait on insurance to respond back. She was friendly and work for doctor Harney for a long time. Best MA he has ever had. I was so sad when I notices she is no longer there though. I noticed some people have left maybe due to new company who bought his. I am not a big fan of his new staff. Previous MA was able to do everything on her own and has been the only MA there even when he had a nurse practitioner last time I went there were 3 girls there and their desk and office since chaotic. I wouldn't change Dr. Harney for anything in the world however he has giving me the… best quality life I could've ever had. I love him and he knows it. I will be so disappointed when he retires. Best pain specialist I've ever met. I will be thankful every single day of my life to have met him.

I had an injury that I was under many doctors care, went through hundreds of treatments & tons of neurologist. Then I was talking to someone who had the same experience & they told me how Dr.Harney found the diagnosis, treated it, & saved their life. On my first visit to Dr. Harney, who evaluated me & said he was pretty sure on the diagnosis, but ordered a MRI to confirm. When the results came back, I was called in. He took the time to show me the MRI films & explained exactly what he thought it was & referred me to a top Neurosurgen who was D-Magazines top Neurosurgens & I was told I needed neck surgery as my spinal cord was at risk of snapping where I was being effected where I was slowly going paralyzed & serious painful nerve damage thanks to 3 years of other doctors & specialist giving up or telling me it was in my head. It was Dr. Harney & God who saved my life. I have been a patient of Dr. Harney since 2007. My Mother who has MS is a patient of Dallas Nurological & Associates &… Dr. Harney is a MS specialist who is highly respected in the field. Every time I have been in for an appointment, Dr. Harney personally greets his patients from the waiting room & walks with them to the exam room or his office. He treats the patient first & takes the time to educate his patient & together to treat the health issue. He is honest, kind, smart, & extemely knowledgeable. Dr. Harney stays at the forefront of the latest discoveries, treatments, research, & continues to expand his knowledge for his sincere compassion for people & to improve the quality of life for his patients. He has been a keynote speaker for diagnoses, trigger factors, & treatment of MS, with the desire to cure this disease. Also sharing his expertise in many neurological topics, disorders like Sympathetic Nervous System Disorder along with many nervous system disorders, autoimmune disorders, multiple muscle skeleton disorders like Fibromyalgia, & Board Certified in Pain Management. Dr. Harney has extensive experience in pain management with many treatment options & he always illustrates the diagnosis, educates on treatment option, & he takes the time to fully explain & answer all the questions from the patient & family member. Dr. Harney is an advocate for Doctor/Patient rights, to be informed, to clearly educate patients, not to be afraid of asking questions, & supporting patients to ask more questions. I've been going to Dr. Harney for over 20 years. His care and his staff are 5*. I fly from California to see him. Hard to find doctor's in his field that are good and that really care. Highly recommend him.

No help other than pain pills for 16 yrs.

Dr. Harney is my favorite doctor. Have referred family members & many friends to see Dr. Harney, & they all think he is the best. Have been a patient for 21 years.

Extremely busy office and difficult to get appointments Wait time for appoint at least 45 minutes

Their office only books Dr. Harney for back20 min appointments which is INSANE.

Dr. Harney is a wonderful physician. If you can get an appt., he is through, attentive & confident in his medical diagnoses & treatment. His staff needs A LOT of organization and training. Except for first person who welcomes you, rest of staff, particularly Dr's assistant, are rude and don't even do what Dr tells them to do. Extremely frustrating
