Terrible bedside manner. Rushed appointment. Did not indicate to me all key information needed for my issue. Seemed uncomfortable answering any questions. Definitely would not recommend.

He rushed my appointment and appeared to be hesitant to answer the most basic questions -- and he left out crucial information that he should have shared with me. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Outstanding! With his professionalism, expertise, and compassion, Dr. John Pak performed my upper eyelid surgery. He tailored the procedure to meticulously restore my peripheral vision with an added bonus of a refreshed appearance of my once saggy eyelids which now appear younger and more alert. He is the best of the best!!!

Dr. John Pak recently opened my eyes, literally, to a bright new world. I had my sagging upper and lower lids done and my whole line of vision is opened to where I can see my hands held out to my sides. That's 180°! I highly recommend him!

Five months prior to seeing Dr Pak, I developed constant tearing in one eye. I was seen by two Ophthalmologists at a major medical center in the western suburbs of Chicago several time and another in private practice in another suburb. None of their suggestions resolved my problem. Dr. Pak first verified through testing that it was not a tear duct problem and then treated me with a cortisone shot (in eye on the chalazion and oil gland). He also recommend (like the others) that I use dry eye drops specifying how often I should use them. In addition, he recommended warm compress every night for ten minutes and that I eat Salmon and Halibut 4-5 times a week. My problem was almost immediately resolved. He is highly qualified and immediately diagnosed my problem!

I researched several Ocuplastic surgeons in Chicagoland and SW Florida, visited two and selected Dr. Pak based on his credentials and reviews. I scheduled upper eyelid surgery immediately after my first consultation. Why? Dr. Pak’s practice is exclusively devoted to ocuplastic surgery and cosmetic rejuvenation of the eye area ... he does not do face lifts. He is an excellent listener and then is very clear about what results can be achieved and, in my case, he cautioned that lower eyelid surgery would not yield satisfactory results due to my facial muscles. My 52-minute upper eyelid surgery was performed at Central Dupage Hospital (as Dr. Pak says: “I only work in a very controlled environment”) where the pre and post op care was superb. Most importantly, I NEVER had one moment of discomfort or eye irritation. He does not push any products but, instead, if asked, will recommend only the best so do take his advice. Lastly, the Wheaton Eye Clinic runs like a Swiss watch; everyone is… respectful of your time and values your business. And my upper eyelids ... I am 66, look ten years younger and naturally refreshed not fixed. Thank you, Dr. John Pak ... you are simply the best!

Dr. pack removed the bump in my eyelid without major medical procedure which another Dr. that I had consulted with wanted to do, I was in and out of there within half an hour. The other doctor had talked about putting me under, anesthesiologist fee, operating room fee , unbelievable! Very grateful!
