Spent about 3 minutes with me before making a most ill-inforned and not remotely concise, "educated" and totally off base diagnosis. His hubris and utter laziness aside he also helped facilitate my close friend's suicide due to negligence and not performing a thorough assessment. Him and "Suzie" need to rethink their bottom line. It ain't about billing & $. Their operating procedure & mission statement appears to be utter indifference, lacking ethics, negligent, harassing patients patients for payment. This "practice"has a responsibility to care for people in mental health crisis not make their symptoms worsw. Hey Jory & Suzie , do everyone… a favor & retire or go work at the DMV. Dr Goodman fled practicing psych in New Hampshire for very good reasons. His reputation is beyond besmirched locally. We took our son to Dr. Goodman and we found him to be a pretty good doctor if not a bit absent minded. What ultimately drove us away was his assistant Susie. She is so condescending, toxic and verbally abusive that I feel physically ill after I talk to her. I just couldn't imagine having to deal with her on an ongoing basis, life is too precious and too short to suffer so. I had to switch doctors. I feel bad for her because she must be a very unhappy person to be so awful but I feel worse for the people who have to deal with her. Good luck.

He is a very bad and dangerous doctor.His wife needs some help,she is mentally sick....They are not good people...

I received superb care from Dr Goodman two times when I was an in-patient at a hospital. He not only well understood me and seriously considered what I had to say about my care, but he also spoke to me with deliberation, clarification and intelligence. This was something new for me to have a psychiatrist who is abreast and very knowlegeable in his craft, as well as relating to me on my level and understanding. He is a very personable and brilliant doctor.

This doctor is insane and very unstable. Funny that he thinks he is very good. He treats you poorly and I'd very unprofessional.

Dr Goodman is a knowledgable psychiatrist who treated me for severe side effects of s medication I had been put on by another doctor. He talked with me as an adult with respect and concern about how I was feeling, what to expect while the drug was leaving my system and how I was interpreting my feelings. I found him easy to talk to and I have developed s healthy respect for him. I would recommend him to anyone although if you are not serious about treatment I suggest you find another doctor. Dr Goodman does not like prescribing opioids which makes sense since he spends his time detoxifying people from these destructive drugs. I was lucky, my family physician prescribed a new popular antidepressant for a mild depression I had and I developed the serious side effects which included skyrocketing high blood pressure cDr Goodman walked in and after a few questions knew exactly what the problem was. One week later I am my old self again with an added bonus of learning that I don't need to… run for medication sometimes something hurts. Thank God I met Dr Goodman!

I recently saw Dr. Goodman and could not have been more impressed with his concern and wisdom! I spent my entire career working with physicians and I know a good one from a bad one. Dr. G appears to be one of the better ones I have met. He isn't a doctor who just throws a prescription at a patient and says goodbye. He wants to make sure what he is doing is the absolute right thing to do, and he takes his time thinking it through.

Dr. Goodman is a GREAT Doctor!!!! He deserves more than 5 Stars, I feel he deserves 5 Stars plus a trillion more Stars. Please go to this Doctor with any issues, I'm sure you will receive by far the BEST treatment ever.

My son was suicidal and admitted to hospital. Unfortunately, Dr Goodman was assigned to his case. I asked to speak to the Dr and was told he would probably phone me that night. I waited a week before he deigned to speak to me and that was only after I called the hospital repeatedly asking to speak to Dr. Goodman. His extraordinarily rude secretary told me he was a VERY busy man with many patients and my son was not the only one...............as if the rest of us have nothing to do either. She finally agreed to a 5 minute phone call with him that day. I found him condescending and dismissive. He prescribed a drug that cost $900 for a months supply. He saw my son almost every week day for about 2 minutes just to adjust his medications. I was totally shocked when I received a bill from him for a FULL HOUR'S consultation for every day he saw my son. If my son had have received this attention, I would not have minded. About a week after the first phone call I had with him, I asked to speak… with him again about what the next steps were in my son's care. The secretary (who must be either his wife or lover from the way she behaves) told me I could have a 15 min phone call for $250 if I liked!!!! I pointed out that if my son had been in an accident I doubt that the Dr in the hospital would be charging me extra for a conversation about the treatment of his broken limbs. Frankly, I have been stunned by the contemptuous treatment I have received from Dr Goodman and that utterly obnoxious woman in his office. Bottom line.............Dr Goodman only cares about HIS bottom line and not in the least his patients' outcome. My advice??...........find another Dr
