Dr. Kimberly Denise Petitt, DO

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Petitt and her medical assistant! Kim is an extraordinary human being and doctor! She has been the light at the end of my tunnel! I referred my best friend to her as well! And she loves them too!!!

If I could have given zero stars, I would. She avoids families and check the boxes. No interest in caring for patients. My goal is to prevent her from taking care of our family members again.

Dr Pettit sent my mom home early from the Hosp, but told me she would do a home visit, which I was impressed with. I was wondering where all these bad reviews came from? Did not take me long to find out. First, she told me she was going to prescribe IV antibiotics so we didn't have to take mom back to Hosp (never should of been released). Took her 3 days to come up with nothing except from her dads Pharmacy for $700 (yes, quite fishy indeed). I found the meds on my first phone call, took 30 seconds and only cost $100, wth? She was going to let my mom lay there with a UTI without any meds had I not got involved. Then she was supposed to be prescribing orders for Home Health and bed. I texted her for a cpl days, said busy w/ patients and would call me back that evening. NEVER heard back from her again for either order. She seemed more concerned about mom "not" going back to Hosp than about her care. Terrible experience!

12 years ago she was a good doctor, now overwhelmed and dangerous, my recent hospitalization she never walked thru the door, and discharged me against my pulmonologist’s recommendation. She is a hospitalist and they get bonuses for discharging quickly. File formal complaints with Kingwood hospital but they never discipline her. Medicare can delay the discharge, and file formal complaints with your insurance, Medicare, JCAH they govern hospitals, county and state medical boards.

This “doctor” needs a “-1000” rating! She was “doctor” in charge of family member at hospital. She did not see patient until 6th day in hospital post surgery. She wanted to discharge patient incorrectly with NO regard for patient’s best interest. Hospital staff seemed happy when I mentioned filing complaint on her. One nursing staff even said “you will be next in a long line”!! She masauerades as a doctor but does not fulfill her due diligence requirements and puts patients & hospital at risk!

No compassion for patients and rude to nurses and staff at hospital. If your in hospital and have the misfortune to get her assigned to you as your in patient care doctor, insist on someone else.

WORST DOCTOR EVER WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY EVER!!!!!!!!!!
