Dr. Lancelot Augustus Lloyd, MD

So, me and my husband were released from Dr. Lloyd medical office all because we asked for copies of our receipts of payments that we were paying out of pocket for. We've been with Dr. Lloyd for well over 10-15 years. We even stayed with Dr. Lloyd, even when he stopped accepting our insurance, so we were paying out of pocket for our care. That's how much we cared for him and his receptionist. So, since our insurance company still had him listed as if he accepts our insurance they had to reimburse us, so we asked for copies of our receipts and was told by Kim it would be 50.00 a piece for the copies of the paperwork. The office manager came back with a price of 250.00, because she said it would be to much work for her to make copies of something that should have been in our charts, so I stated that was to much money to charge us, so she lied to Dr. Lloyd and said we are going to leave his practice and lord knows what else she lied about to him for him to sign off on dismissing us… without even a phone call from him after being with him for so long and when he moved his office we were driving about an hour to still see him. So then the liar, I mean the office manager called me and said that she can do 150.00 for copies of our visits, and keep in mind I don't know if these prices were per person or the total. So, I told her to let me talk it over with my husband and call her back. When I did call her back the same day, she was not in, so we told Kim the 150.00 was still high, but we will pay it. So for like the next week and a half the office manager was not in the office. I have my phone records to show many times me and my husband called. So when I finally did talk to her, she proceeded to say I didn't know we were still working on this. You would have known if you were in the office and got all of Kim messages that we've been calling. I asked her why we were being dismissed all because we asked for some copies of receipts? She then put everything on Kim and called me a liar. I asked if there was something going on with your books because a copy of any receipt should be in our charts and should not take that much work to just make a copy. Then the liar, I mean office manager, told me that I couldn't speak to Dr. Lloyd to hear her side of the story, she told him. It hurts that he didn't even feel the need to call us himself and ask us what happened as close as he is to me and my family. I will contact the IRS to see if we can get our receipts. I also will be filing with the medical board and anywhere else I can file with concerning this matter, but for Dr. Lloyd, if you do read this, just know she lied on Kim and through her under the bus, and you should not have someone like her working there. Also, to dismiss my husband when she never even spoke to him is crazy.

Excellent Doctor, was very efficient and knowledgeable. Hit the problem I was having right on the head and now it is resolved.
