After searching for many many years we had the pleasure of meeting Dr Karlin and his team. Not only is a great surgeon but an extraordinary man. From the time we entered his office to the time we got discharged from the hospital he made sure we were comfortable and receive the care that my daughter deserved. ?? we are so thankful and blessed to have Dr Karlin

he was rude, condesending and his recommendation for clubfoot was totally wrong and would have resulted in life long struggle and complications for my child!

Dr. Karlin did 2 surgeries on my. First being putting in a full spinal fusion and 3 years after (2013) he removed it due to an allergy to the metal. Dr.Karlin saved my life. I had a very difficult time with my fusion (nothing that he did or didn't do, was just my body) and he had so much patience when it came to my pain and concerns. He is an amazing and compassionate doctor who will go to all lengths to help. He is very busy but always seems to find time to care about all of his patients. I will recommend him to anybody. Dr. Karlin is the exact replica of what every doctor should be.

My daughter sees Dr. K for her scoliosis. She is very at ease with him. Dr. K is a busy man and sometimes needs reminders of what was agreed upon at last apt but we were not an "easy" patient in that we disagreed with treatment options. He was still patient, professional and we managed to give my girl the care she needed. He is a very caring heartfelt person, a man of few words, but an excellent doctor, and we've seen many!

<3 DEFINITELY THE BEST <3. Such an incredible place. As many of us have our own favorite doctors at Children's, my heart is with Dr. Karlin and his team in orthopedics. What an honer it is to get top notch care from the best!!

My daughter sees Dr. Karlin for her scoliosis. We went to him after seeing another orthopedic surgeon who we liked but who was insisting on x-rays every 6 months. Dr. Karlin has a wonderful way about him and put my daughter at ease right away. He looks you right in the eye and explains everything. He did a thorough exam - much more thorough than the doctor we originally saw and gave us much more information as well. Also agreed to do as few x-rays as possible w/o compromising care. Again we liked the surgeon we originally saw but even with a 90 minute drive into Boston, it was well worth it to have Dr. Karlin.
