Dr Pomeranz is a highly skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner. His staff is exceptional as well! He really cares about his patients & explains everything thoroughly! Highly recommend

On Nov. 5, 2018 I was rushed to Northwell at Plainview Hospital. A CAT scan showed appendicitis. I was so fortunate to have had my surgery with Dr. Lee Pomerantz, who with his skill, intelligent decision making, and self assurance, was able to perform Laproscopic surgery on what was a ruptured appendix with sepsis and peritonitis. I was in ICU for two days with amazing results to follow. I was so blessed and grateful to have been in the hands of such a wonderful surgeon. Home now recuperating, and am eternally grateful to Dr. Pomerantz and his team.

Did not rush took his time to explain to me what was going on with me. Answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. . Man is extemely bright , personable and he does care. More than impressed. Would highly reccomend him to anyone I know or anyone I didsn't that was intefrested in having him do their surgery. Very impresive guy! He is as good as it gets.

the doctor was incredible, professional and caring. he performed surgery of my husband whose gall bladder burst while in surgery. He was incredible and saved my husband's life 2x during that event.

Its unusual in this day and age to come across a doctor like Dr Pomeranz. He is a throwback to a time when doctors spent time listening to you and answering questions. He returns calls himself, and is very professional without sacrificing a great bedside manner. I had an emergency appendectomy with lots of complications and count my lucky stars that Dr. Pomeranz was the surgeon on call that day. He is a great doctor.

I had a severe case of diverticulitis which eventually became perforated. I was lucky enough to get Dr. Pomeranz as my surgeon. His quiet, calm demeanor helped to diminish my fears. After the surgery, he was always available to answer my questions. He even opened his office on a Saturday during a snowstorm to check on me. He is a gifted surgeon and a wonderful, caring person. I was blessed to have him as my surgeon.

Dr. Pomeranz is a very caring and competent physician. I had emergency surgery and he saved my life. Dr. Pomeranz is a kind and caring doctor and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
