Dr. Kaplan explained that the shot would only delay the inevitable...another knee replacement. I'm just trying to get through the summer and I'll schedule surgery.

Dr Kaplan is a warm an easy person to talk to. You can tell he enjoys his job. Dr. Has a Great personality.

I am suddenly having trouble with hip pain after a replacement done by him a few years ago. Kaplan doesn't bother to return calls. I am forced to look for another orthopedic surgeon to address the problem. I see that he has decamped to Scottsdale, where there are lots of old rich people. Hubris will get him if he doesn't get down off of that high horse. Do your homework and don't fall for his fast talking spiel.

Dr Kaplan performed a complicated knee revision after my initial knee replacement (from another Dr.) became infected...twice. Six months later, the infection has cleared and the revised knee replacement is exceptional. I have full range of motion and no pain. I have returned to the sports activity that I love and am so very impressed by Dr Kaplan's skills and professionalism. I recommend him without hesitation!
