Dr. Linda Freilich, MD

The worst doctor I've ever seen. Check out her lawsuit against upper chesapeake sometime. • Dr. Freilich “told [a] patient he was just fat and go on a diet.” • She told a nurse, “We don't want you here. Get out. I can make life miserable for you.” • Dr. Freilich told a hospital employee, “Every time I am written up, I will write you up ten times.” • When a nurse wanted to give pain medication to an alcoholic with pancreatitis, Dr. Freilich allegedly said, “I want him to be miserable. He did this to himself.” • She told a patient who smokes, “I hate people who smoke.” • She told a patient, “You are a three-time loser and you will be back.” • She publicly humiliated a patient and then told another patient who had observed the incident that “she could avoid that embarrassment if the patient would stop coming to the emergency room in a drunken stupor.” • She was uncooperative with patients' requests for transfer. • She was “uncooperative numerous times in notifying families of… patient deaths.” • In 1997, patients were surveyed about their satisfaction with their attending emergency room doctor. No other physician had more than one person choose “dissatisfied” or “somewhat dissatisfied,” but Dr. Freilich had nine people (out of 22) choose that option. • Thirty-three patients independently complained to the hospital about Dr. Freilich

Very thorough straight up excellent care.

I give her no stars whatsoever she's a condescending lady she has no sympathy and no bedside manner she has dirty nails she doesn't wash her hands she doesn't check you she's too busy writing prescriptions I've never been into a doctor's office that only takes cash we're in the twenty-first century lady you need to go back to school for bedside manner or better still retire you need to wash your hair sometime also besides your hands

The waiting room stinks of sewage, and she gives no examination. She loves to draw blood and give out shots, though. A real nutcase.

Always trying to "sell" me some type of flu shot. Took my blood without asking me if I fasted. Seen me for SSI but when I asked her about writing me a letter that would better explain my health limitations, she said she couldn't because its a 'conflict of interest". And since the SS administration is blocking me from receiving SSI and Dr Linda Freilch is working for the SS administration, I see the 'conflict of interest' because she cant help me and at the same time work for the SS administration that is blocking me from receiving help with SSI!! Heck, you don't need to be a genious to figure that one out, maybe just to spell the word "genious" correctly... :O

The front desk girl Rose is nice but the rest of the staff is awful

Dirty office. Extremely rude doctor. Ran up blood work charges and collected copay when it wasn't required by my plan. Refused to refund copay. I will never go back.

There was no privacy on a personal consult I tried talking to her about an issue with meds she prescribed me for years she was loud told me I had a sti was loud I heard laughter coming from the small waiting room I never seen anyone wash third hands or use sanitizer she's too quick and rushy

I had the most awful experience I've ever had in my life with this doctor. I am a nursing student and had to get a varicella (chicken pox) vaccine. When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked if they provided the vaccine and was told that they can't provide that information over the phone. That should have been a warning sign right there, but I went ahead and scheduled the appointment anyway. As soon as Freilich saw me, she told me I couldn't get the vaccine. I started crying (I had already been through a lot trying to find this vaccine, and was just very frustrated about wasting my time and not having this accomplished). Even though I was crying, she insisted I needed blood drawn to have my cholesterol checked. I don't know why I didn't refuse this. She then took me to the room with the tech. The tech didn't acknowledge me at all (even though I was crying) and when I asked for a tissue she said I could have a paper towel. She then drew my blood. I said I felt… dizzy and nauseous and she said, "You better not throw up in here, because I am not cleaning it up." I then proceeded to have my first ever (and hopefully only) panic attack. I felt like I couldn't breath and that the room was closing in on me. They didn't even say anything to me, they just left me alone. After I calmed down after about 10 min., I got out of there as fast as I could without checking out or anything. Do not go to this doctor! I have no idea how she still has her medical license. It was dirty and old, the techs all looked like ghetto former drug addicts (we are talking neck, hand and forearm tattoos, body piercings, pocked skin, etc.) and they were super mean. A doctor in a third world country would be better than her!
