Dr. Margaret Thurmond-Anderle, MD

Dr. Thurmond-Anderle is an awesome doctor, she listens to you and I have always had a very fast response to any questions or concerns. Her staff is kind and helpful which makes for a very comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend Dr. Thurmond-Anderle to anyone who is suffering from RA, you will not find a better Dr. in Amarillo.

I have RA. Didn't know what it was until diagnosis. I was losing movement in my hands at a alarming rate. She explained everything in a language that I could understand. Not a lot of big medical terms that I would have to go home and google just to see what it all meant. Step by step on the treatment regime. Within about 2 months, 95% mobility and NO MORE PAIN. Most of the swelling has gone away and to look at my hands today, you really can't tell that all my knuckles were twice their normal size and I couldn't make a fist to save my life.. I have my good days and my bad days, but that comes with the territory. I know that Dr Thurmond-Anderle and her wonderful staff will be there if I have any questions. I am so glad she was my #1 pick and forever thankful she took me on as a patient.

She is a very good doctor. I have been a patient a few years now.

I have seen Dr Anderle in the past and while the appointment was easy to get the wait time in the waiting room was horrible. Once I got in the room she did spend a lot of time with me but she didn't address all of my concerns. She was talking about other things which was of no value instead of staying on track. My time is valuable I am missing work and not getting paid. Her staff is great they seem to be trying just to pick up after the doctor. There are rules there but no more than any other doctors office. Most places that have rules usually is because someone doesn't follow directions and they have to set guidelines. I am sure the government has something to do with some of the rules since she is a provider for Medicare patients. She is big on narcotic prescriptions to help control the pain if you sleep well you can usually manage during the daytime which is true. YOU have to be the responsible one. All in all she is a good doctor she does lack in time management skills,… details of the visit getting RX sent electronic, getting off the topic at hand my care during the visit. Maybe she needs more help or some time management classes

I like Dr. Anderle. She is very professional but seems caring. Some of her office rules are a little ridiculous. The office staff, however, are very cold,impersonal, and do not listen to the patients or their needs.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

This doctor is not recommended for anyone. When I came to her she did a long physical exam, but ordered no labs or tests. She prescribed narcotics which relieved the pain, but failed to adress the root issue. I told her I was hurting and she would just give me more. 9 months later, when tests were finally done I found out that I had an issue which could have been addressed through surgery with workers compensation if it had been diagnosed in time. Instead she misdiagnosed me and now I live in pain, trying to detox from the high level of narcotics and without the ability to work or pay for the surgery that I need. Unless you are simply seeking major narcotics (1 elderly patient I know is on Oxyfast liquid, Oxycontin, AND a Fentanyl patch!) this doc is NOT for you.

Dr. Anderle was the first doctor to properly diagnose and treat my condition. She is very attentive to what I say and you can "see" the gears turning by the look on her face as she listens to you. You may have to wait a little while in the office but it is because of the individual time she is giving her patients. It is well worth the wait. I would highly recommend her to anyone. If you are her patient you are most fortunate.

I've been Dr. Thurmond-Anderle's patient for about 10 years. She has helped me control my rheumatoid arthritis. Her diagnoses have always been right on the mark, and she has prescribed medicines that work. She always takes the time to answer my questions, and is caring and professional.

Dr. Anderle has treated myself as well as other family members and her care and treatment have been excellant. I have all the confidence in the world in her diagnosis as well as prognosis. She has gone above and beyond the requirement with her frequent off duty calls to answer my questions and concerns.
