Five Star and Dr. Ficarola is one of the Best! I come from a medical family, my Father was the Chief Consultation Officer of Centinela Hospital Medical Center known for its exceptional expertise and care, and I’ve owned Diabetic Clinics employing doctors, nurses and MA’s, so I demand the best. Dr. Ficarola, is an excellent Doctor, and he takes the time to listen to his patients! He runs his practice very professional, and he values your time, by making you wait when you have an appointment, and yet he gives you time to analyze and offer support for what ails you or for questions during your appointment. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Sometimes he is fine. Other times he is angry and irrational. He missed a very serious condition that would have been fatal if I hadn't seen a different Dr. Would never recomend

Dr F. is very thorough, listens to your concerns, spends a very generous amount of time with you and is conservative with treatment plans. I've moved to Nor Cal more than a year ago and will pay the membership fee each year so I can continue to see him. Having a Dr like Dr F, one you can trust, means everything!!

I was a patient for many years and still respect and appreciate Dr. Ficarola. But in 2012 his practice changed and he started charging an annual "administrative" fee of $150 to $300, depending on your age. This is not covered by insurance. As much as I like him I do not think a $300 fee is worth it since I never called him and only saw him twice a year, mainly to get rx renewed (otherwise he would not renew them). I wish him luck but if you want a Dr. that is covered by your insurance he is not the one.

Dr. Ficarola, is an excellent Doctor, and he takes the time to listen to his patients! He runs his practice very professional, and he values your time, by not running way behind, or very late when you have an appointment, and yet he allows time to offer support and for questons during your appointment. I'm very happy with his knowledge and service!

Dr. Ficarola has been my doctor for more years than I could say. Even after I moved out of the area, I continue to keep him as my primary doctor and see him at least once a year.
