Dr. Mary Lou Devaul-Eshleman, DO

Dr. DeVaul has been my psychiatrist for 12 years. She has a great bedside manner. She has a vast amount of knowledge, especially about children who are bipolar/borderline. She's the only psychiatrist I have ever been able to talk to who understands me and I her. She goes out of her way to take care of her patients. She has opened her office for me on days that she was supposed to be closed. She also answers all of my phone calls. She's a genuine human being and she really understands how medications work, and which medications do not work well for patients.

Dr. Devaul treated me during a case of PPD that was tough to deal with since I have allergies, and then helped me a year later get through acute anxiety and panic after an assault. I have always found Dr. Devaul to be caring, a great listener, experienced, and extremely successful at diagnosing and treating my issues. She answered every call I made to her, and was very clear that I was welcome to continue to see her until I was comfortable. With the help of her and my psychologist I got through two of the toughest times in my life, and am hoping to get in to see her now as I am again experiencing acute trauma in my life. Excellent doctor!
