Until I left I had the extreme pleasure of working with Dr. Kanevky at CVPH up in the north country. As a professional, he was wonderful to work with, forging a bond and great collaboration with everyone on the the healthcare team, nurse social workers, individual therapists etc. He communicated his thoughts, but I would say more importantly, sought out the view points of those people who work most intimately with patients in a hospital, the nurses. I have yet to meet a doctor that values his team members as well as Dr. Kanevsky. When I have joined the conversation Dr. K has with his patients, he communicates in a kind, straight-forward and easily accessible manner of speak, taking the time to thoroughly explain any upcoming procedures to his patients, as well as answer their questions. One should not hesitate to visit Dr. Kanevsky for the first time, where they will be able to see that they have finally found the doctor that is on their side, no ifs, and, or buts.

I was stunned to have such a well-versed, attentive, and compassionate primary care doctor who has such strong training and knowledge base in both Western and Eastern Medicine...I would refer my own mother to him.THANKS DR. K !-we miss you in NY, I am sure your volunteering in Haiti is going well-

I was x-fered to Dr. Kanvesky when my other PCP moved away. At first, I was slightly annoyed and hesitant to switch, but Dr. Kanevsky presented himself in such a professional, caring, and attentive manner.. I am really grateful for the switch! He listened and addressed each of my (MANY) health concerns in a patient manner. I would HIGHLY recommend this family doctor.

Dr. Kanevsky spent plenty of time taking my history and getting to know me. He does not hesitate to say when he doesn't know something, and promptly looks it up instead of BSing or glossing over a question. Great doctor.
