Most patients with back pain from a Vertebral Body Compression Fracture will have received an imaging study (X-Ray/Radiograph, MRI scan, CT scan, or Bone Scan) before being evaluated in our clinic. During the clinic visit the potential treatments of the Fracture will be discussed. We strive to answer all questions with clear and concise explanations so that our patients understand why fractures occur, and what treatments are available.
The Physicians of Upstate Carolina Radiology are all very experienced with the following procedures: Kyphoplasty, Vertebroplasty, Epidural Steroid Injections, Nerve Root Block Injections, Facet Block Injections, and Discograms.
Because many patients are experiencing severe back pain, we treat most patients within just a few days of their clinic visit.
