I first went to Dr. Chen for injections in my knees. That was simple and he was fine for that. However, when I went to him for a shoulder problem, I was very dissatisfied. He seemed to make a determination without seeking enough information, took very little time with me & refused to order an MRI even though what he recommended was not working. I later went to another doctor and found I had a complicated problem involving a torn tendon and a muscle.

I saw Dr Chen for a knee pain, clicking and popping. He told me that surgery would at least give some relief to my pain. After surgery he plainly said I'll see you in a couple of years for a replacement, had I known he'd think that way I would have waited for a replacement. Since surgery I have had more pain and trouble with my knee locking up, and I struggle every day to walk without limping.

I was treated for 13 yrs by his associate. I was expecting Dr. Florez to do my surgery. However, I immediately felt confident with Dr. Chen. I never doubted his ability. Everything went well.
