he is very kind an up front about what needs to be done I wil only ever go to him because he is so honest a done a great job on my back surgery

Having worked as an RN with Dr. Viau when he first arrived in the Mansfield, Ohio, area, he has maintained a reputation that surpasses every physician that I have ever been in contact with. I recall initially other nurses being jealous that I had the opportunity to personally work closely with him (they also felt that he "is so hot!"), I have never heard, seen, nor experienced ANY negativity re: his skills. I personally chose him to operate on my long suffering husband, and, as he expressed prior to surgery, he would never be completely pain free, but he has managed to alleviate some of the worse of it. A perfect 5 star rating, with the exception of ease of appointment, as to be expected, as his practice has deservedly grown and obtained utmost respect. I also would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Aubrey, who felt our pain with my husband Todd's most recent complications, and went the extra mile on her own. What a major blessing this practice is...Thank you...

My husband had back surgery with Mr.Viau, He was wonderful. Took his time to listen and talk to us to make sure we understood everything that was going to happen, never had a problem getting any of his med refilled when they were do, We were so pleased now its time for me to have my back done, and its a no brainer who will be doing it!!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Viau for approximately 20 years. He has done 5 surgeries on me, with one coming up. He has always been extremely aware of his Patients pain level. And, I thought since he had moved his practice to Med Central things had improved, especially the wait time. But, to my dismay, things have gotten worse. Your Pain is not treated, you are lumped into the group of drugs addicts, just because you ask for Pain medication. You can't even get your request for the Dr. You are stopped dead cold a nurse practicioner that doesn't get it!!!

Misdiagnosed by my regular doctor. Dr. Viau scheduled surgery the day after my appointment with him.He is definitely straight up with you & he has a really hot nurse practitioner!
