Dr Mo Akl is an amazing physician/surgeon. Changed my life after surgery to repair stage 4 pelvic prolapse. Excellent patient care from Dr Akl and his staff. I would definitely recommend AZ Urogynecology!!

Dr. Akl was great. He took an efficient approach to helping me with my chronic problem. He spent extra time to answer all my questions and concerns and his treatment plan helped me stay out of the hospital and decreased visits to urgent care and made me feel more secure and Independant.

Dr Akl is very professional and kind. He was very accommodating during my appt and surgery scheduling since I have a 3 hour drive to come to his office. He worked with me to decrease my office visits as much as possible due to my commute. I had remarkable results with surgery.

Their staff needs some education about how to treat those of us with impaired movement/function. The test chair was broken, but they decided to use it even though I'm unsteady on my feet, and a fall would be disasterous. Explained I would not schedule surgery unless ALL providers were in network. I went through all the tests/bloodwork/visits, scheduled surgery, only to find out that the surgical assistant would not be covered because they are NOT in network with any insurance (it states this on their website, which I had to visit because no one answered their phones, and their mailbox was full...NOT good). Had to cancel surgery, and I am appalled at the waste of time, $$, and insurance $$'s.

I had a great recovery after surgery. I was able to travel 2 weeks after. Great experience with the doctor and office staff excellent bedside manner

Very kind and professional. My surgery went prefect and 6 weeks later I am feeling better everyday. I honestly did not eve know that this medical specialty existed.
