First let me say that Dr. Balakirshnan was outstanding once we decided to move forward. Initially he wanted me to wait however we discussed my concerns further and decided moving forward was the best course of action. He provided all the necessary explanations regarding what to expect before, during and after and all of the information provided happened exactly as he predicted. I would definitely recommend him to any patient requiring a similar procedure. I absolutely felt comfortable working with him as well ac confident.

Dr. Balakrishnan recently performed a total hip replacement on me. He was able to do what needed to be done with minimal trauma to the surrounding tissue. As a result, I had hardly any pain and was fully ambulatory and driving in less than 3 weeks.

Dr. Balakrishnan has been helping me cope with arthritis for years. Last year he did a total hip replacement and this year a total knee replacement (from which I'm still recovering). He is super cautious regarding infection control, which I really appreciate. Dr. Balakrishnan answers all my questions and is supportive when I get anxious...like before major surgery. I have the highest regard for his skills, care, and compassion and am eager to recommend him as an orthopedic doctor and surgeon.

I had both of my knees replaced by Dr. Balakrishnan. He was polite, friendly and did a fantastic job on both knees. He talked to me throughout the whole process. Hopefully, I won't need any more surgeries - but he is the one to go to.
