Feels weird giving our neuro oncologist a review; it's not like we've just purchased a product or had a great meal. But here's why we are taking the time to leave the review for Dr. Butowski: 1) He has the best "bed-side manner." Hearing that your loved one has a malignant tumor is life-shattering but Dr Butowski gave us the hope we needed to take the next steps 2) He takes complicated medical situations / issues and explains them in layman's terms. 3) He always follows up by asking if we have questions, then listens (almost "listening between the lines" to see if there's more to the question than what's verbally stated), and is beyond patient. He makes us feel important. 4) He AND his team always respond to our emails in a timely manner. While we are devastated by our current situation, we are grateful to have Dr Butowski on this journey with us.
