Knowledgeable about my condition and gentle performing procedure, he was very conscious about not causing me pain. He seemed sincere and caring.

I was brought in to be seen and within 5 minutes was out the door. I do not think my grievances were even heard. I spoke to both the attending nurse and doctor about what was going on, and I doubt they heard me. I think my toddler listens better. I requested a prescription, was told that it would be sent to the pharmacy and of course, no prescription sent. I am still trying to contact the nurse's line to see if they will send it.. I tried to tell them my 2 week history as to how I came to be so sick, but I don't think that was important to them. It may have helped with the diagnosis, but who knows, I am not a doctor! Really felt mistreated for some reason..I think with my co-pay and what insurance pays, and what the doctor gets paid, I could get at least 15 minutes of attention..

He lied about my problem He said I didn't have a nasal valve collapse and blew me off. I was so sick and about to lose my insurance. I went to another Dr. and had surgery for nasal valve collapse. He got mad that I didn't get back on cpap and go through the medical equipment company he wanted me to use My insurance co. didn't work that way. I had obstruction in my nose, cpap doesn't work for that. I had already tried it for six months in the past. All he care about was making money.. I think my bill said he made over 400.00 an hour and he saw me for 5 minutes. No lie! He wanted me to get on cpap because he would make more money. Did not give a crap about how sick I was. I couldn't breath through my nose. I had 85% blockage. What he did was disgraceful!

Dr Melder is by far the best otolaryngologist I have ever used. Careful to explain everything. Stays up on the latest techniques and shares information.
