No follow up unless patient first calls following procedure. According to office reception, after patient calls requesting results, only then will DR F. schedule a review of results. Better hope you have insurance and issue is not time-sensitive. Next time, I will be going elsewhere.

HAVE SEEN THIS DR. TWICE/ BOTH TIMES LATE. PROCEDURE THE FIRST TIME WENT WELL. SECOND TIME WAS OVER DUE TO BE DONE. NO NOTICE FROM STAFF AS WAS TOLD YEARS AFTER THE FIRST PROCEDURE. FOLLOW UP AFTER SECOND PROCEDURE BY STAFF WAS POOR. NEVER GOT MY RESULTS TO THIS DAY, EVEN AFTER REQUESTING TWICE. RESULTS WERE NOT SENT TO MY GP EITHER. ALL I RECEIVED WAS A BILL.. WILL NOT BE BACK TO SEE THIS DR. AGAIN.

I WAS a patient of Dr. Fahrenbach for about 10 years. He used to call you with test results and now as "In it for the Money" stated, you must come into the office. It's more than the money-it was the 1 hour past my appointment time just to hear my test results came out fine. I recently had severe abdominal pain and fever. I called the doctor after office hours on a Friday for some guidance. Having been previously diagnosed by him with diverticulosis, I asked him if I should wait until Monday and try to get into the office or go to the emergency room. His reply was "I can't answer that. I'm not in the office. I don't have your file. MAYBE we could get you in Monday or Tuesday. Yikes - maybe Monday or Tuesday! I pressed him a little further and again got "I can't answer that. I'm not in the office. I don't have your file." It wasn't even what he said so much as the tone he used. He might as well been saying "Why did you bother me with such a stupid question??" I ended up… in ER, got diagnosed, got meds and a new G.I. doctor with a bedside manner.

The doctor listened to the complaint of stomach pain and blood in stool. He palpated the abdomen and felt a firm section and stated that I had a twisted stomach. Looked at what meds were being taken and said to not take aspirin and prescribed GERD meds and sent me home with instructions to come back in a week. Came back he asked if things are better. When stated no he said that surgery could correct it. When asked if any tests are needed to identify it he said no that it is a twisted stomach and that it could go away. Sent home again with instructions to come back in a month. Two weeks later hospitalized and CT identified 27cm mass in abdomen. Wow! Not going here again.

Doctor requires separate personal appointments to receive results of standard tests including colonoscopies, upper GI and CAT scans - requiring $160.00 per visit and minimum waiting time of 3 - 4 weeks for test results. We paid for (3) separate appointments. Other family members went to different Doctors and received typed results upon completion of the same tests and lab results directly from the hospital 4 days after test. This doctor is clearly in the business for the money only.
