Dr. Rebecca Herrero, MD

Muy buena Doctora no tengo palabras de como expresarme de ella mas q mil y millones de Gracias por estar pendiente todo el tiempo de mi y mi bebé gracias .

Dr. Herrero is the most wonderful doctor I’ve ever had! She is kind, takes all the time I need, and she is SO knowledgable! Other doctors very often give me vague answers to questions, but not Dr. Herrero. She answers by providing statistics, explaining current research, and will share her expertise from years of working with women. She is kind and courteous to her staff as well.

Wrat Nessie’s manner, uncaring, lacks compassion for pregnant women with pregnancy related issues. I went to Dr Rebebcca Herrera for my third pregnancy. She had good reviews and she was a woman so I wanted to try her for this pregnancy. Everything was ok until it was discovered I had Placenta previa. Not knowimg what this condition was , I was scared as a mother. When I asked her what it is... Rebecca literally “we see this a lot in Meth users!” My face went blank. “What did she just say and why did she say that to me?! Wow, that was not the medical professional answer I was looking for. She has a very weird sense of “humor” I guess. So I let it slide but no one thought it was funny or appropriate. I was hoping she’d become more professional and warmer to me as time went on.... no way it got worse. By the way, I researched placenta prévia on my own and found it to be very common in smaller women with more than one c-section previously. That’s a real medical answer I got my own not the… terrible answer she told me! Skip 6 months from then when I rushed to the ER because i started bleeding heavily due to the placenta prévia -she examines me, sticks her hand up covered in blood and she said “congratulations you’re bleeding again” i looked at my husband, and a nurse near by mortified. Who says this to a pregnant woman who is scared for her child’s health?! She tells me to be careful but if I start bleeding she said if I come in she will tell me the same thing! She quickly left like me bleeding with my “condition” was no big deal or my own fault. I was literally in tears fearing I was going to lose my unborn child. Why is this lady so uncompassionate and straight a mean woman to pregnant mothers?! Right then and there I’m her absence- I met Dr Gex in the ER. Amazing bedside manner, very calm, patient, caring.. exactly the doctor I needed! So. I switched over to him in immediately. He preformed the best C section I’ve ever had (I’ve had 3 c section births now) I’m speaking out after some time because I have the courage now to call someone out when they don’t like what they do or who they work with. Rebecca Herrera needs to think before she speaks. And she needs to lose her dark sense of humor. Most of us don’t appreciate or find her funny. She is literally the WORST DOCTOR I HAVE BEEN TO IN NEVADA. If she doesn’t like her job dealing with sensitive hormonal women, she should just throw in the towel. I 100% would not recommend her to any woman especially one with a difficult pregnancy.

It was shocking and sad to read all the reviews about Dr Herrero. It seems as if there are 2 different doctors being reviewed--some just love her and some say absolutely stay away! Sadly, I am with the latter choice. I looked in Vegas for 5 years for a gyn who accepts Medicare and was a female, as my previous gyn suddenly quit her practice. I am a 70 year old woman, so I have had at least 40 to 50 annual exams. I can say that no gyn ever HURT me. Some were uncomfortable, but Dr Herrero felt like she was jabbing me with a sharp instrument, then actually cutting out tissue. I started to ask her to stop just before she finished the procedure because it was so painful. Afterward, I asked the medical assistant to talk to the Dr. She said no that Dr. was with another patient. I have always been able to talk to the Dr. afterward. Then, I got a results from the lab that said there wasn't enough tissue to test and there was too much lubricant. If the Dr. can't do a simple test preparation… like a smear, how effective is she with more complicated procedures? A week later, I got a call from nurse Peggy. She said I would have to come in to take another test. I told her exactly what had happened and that the Dr. HURT me. She then really didn't want to talk to me and said I had to talk to the practice manager, Linda. Her voice box was full so I left a message with Peggy. I never got a callback. Is this how a responsible, professional organization which handles something as delicate and important as healthcare should work?

She is awesome, she delivered my baby and even though it was sooner than the due date she came right away and wouldn't let anyone touch me or give me stuff without talking to her first which I appreciated since she knew about my pregnancy. She answers all my questions, reassured me when I was nervous about certain things, as well as checked on me and if she couldn't she sent someone qualified whom she trusted which I appreciated as well. If I decide to have more kids, she will definitely be my go to doctor.

Dr. Herrrero is a horrible doctor who cares more about money than her patients care. Her staff is horrible too. They give out wrong information, they won't admit their mistakes, and in all they make Dr. Herrero look bad. I waited 2 weeks just to get a appointment with Dr. Herrero. I gave her staff all my insurance information, and never once was I told to call my insurance company and have her added as my obgyn. Soon as they told me that they canceled my appointment even when I told them that I could get my insurance company to make her my obgyn right away. She still denied seeing me BTW I'm a high risk pregnancy who was taking meds that was not good for baby. Keep in mind i took off work just to come see her. So they reschedule me to her other location only to call me 2 days later to cancel my new appointment stating Dr. Herrero prefers not to treat me at this time. I've given this sorry doctor 3 deliveries and 1 refferal. I've lost all respect for her as a person and I will never do… business with her again. After all was said and done Dr. Greedy had the nerve to ban me from other doctors so I could be denied health care, but God is good found a better doctor who cares about her patients. Dr. Herrero staff makes her look extremely unprofessional, and money hungry. People please don't waste your time on a heartless Dr. Like herself.

I really love Dr. Herrero! I started seeing her a few years ago, and she was always nice, courteous, professional and friendly during annual checkups. She talked with me about family planning and guided me through different options of birth control when I needed it. When my husband and I decided we wanted to start a family, Dr. Herrero was readily available to answer questions of all kinds. Once becoming pregnant, she has been such a wonderful advisors! I love how she's direct and to the point while still being kind and professional. She's never once made me feel like my questions were stupid (even when I knew they were), she constantly calms my fears, and is always there to reassure me that everything is going to be okay. I'm just now getting my my third trimester, so I can't report on her delivery as of yet, but I'm confident that she will help me bring this baby into the world in the safest and most healthy way possible! * I did notice that scheduling annuals needs to be done… in advance because they do schedule a ways out, but once pregnant, appropriate scheduling is easily available.

I have seen Dr. Herrero for more than ten years now. She is an excellent doctor who has listened to all my health concerns and answers all of my questions. The only complaint I have is the long wait time to be seen. I had to reschedule once because it took more that an hour. Besides that Dr. Herrero is a doctor that I highly recommend just be ready to wait for some time in the waiting room before you are actually seen.

Dr. Herrero is very caring, understanding, knowledeful, and actually boosts your confidence during any visit. I would recommend her to any expecting mother. But, warn you that the staff service is very unsatisfactory. They are not polite, they set up wrong appointments, they don't convey correct information from/to you. They are in a rush all the time. You will be disappointed with their service definitely.
