Dr. Robert Boyne, MD

Waited 8 months to see dr boyne because my old neurologist no longer took my insurance. Upon visit where I brought numerous test results they were not looked at. He informed me it was his "impression" that I had none of the three diagnosis but yet refused to look at them. Scheduled me for December visit without testing. Won't waste my time with him after one visit. He wants a CT to be scheduled I don't think so. Will be going back to my neurologist of 5 yrs

I like the way Dr Boyle listens and responds.

"DR. BOYNE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN AROUND. AND I'VE BEEN A NURSE FOR 40 YEARS AND STILL PRACTICING, AND IF I COULD GIVE HIM ZERO STARS I WOULD. HE HAD ME MISDIAGNOSED BEFORE I EVER WENT INTO THE EXAM ROOM ,HE NEVER SHUT THE DOOR TO THE EXAM ROOM (HIPPA VIOLATION #1) AND I THANK GOD MY HUSBAND WAS WITH ME. HE WAS JUST AND OBNOXIOUS, LOUD TALKING , RUDE, ARROGANT PERSON, THAT WOULD NOT LET ME TALK OR GIVE HIM ANY OF MY SYMPTOMS, REVIEW MEDICATION LIST, PAST MEDICAL HISTORY. HE LITERALLY CAME IN WITH A NOTE TABLET AND ASKED ABOUT 10 RAPID-FIRE QUESTIONS, GAVE ME A RX FOR QULIPTA FOR CHRONIC MIGRAINE WITH AURA. HE ACTUALLY TOLD US HE GRADUATED FROM MEDICAL SCHOOL IN DENVER, CO. I NEVER SAW ANY ACEDEMIC AWARDS ON THE WALLS SHOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THE SCHOOLS HE ATTENDED. HE WAS VERY RUDE AND ACTED LIKE I WAS "JUST ANOTHER WOMAN WITH A MIGRAINE". I KNOW MY BODY, THIS IS NOT A CHRONIC MIGRAINE WITH AURA. AND WHEN I CHECKED OUT, THE NICE LADY AT THE DESK GAVE ME SOMEONE… ELSE'S AFTER CARE SUMMARY (HIPPA VIOLATION #2) I HAD TO CALL AND ASK FOR MINE TO BE MAILED TO ME. SO, NEXT WILL BE TO REPOST HIM TO THE BOARD OF MEDICAL EXAMINERS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PERSON....."

Dr. Boyne is an excellent listener. Writes down what you say if you have more than one issue. My husband was referred to him and has been given such compassionate and caring treatment. He truly gives patients clear explanations of healthcare. He also has a great sense of humor and optimism. Highly recommend him as a neurologist.

Dr. Boyne has treated my seizure disorder for the past 5 years and now live a normal life. He is personable, is available whenever you need him and has a staff that returns calls promptly. I would not use any other neurologist in the Tyler, Texas area.

Very detailed, I get in there fast, overall very satisfied.

Dr. Boyne has a wonderful manner and listens to your questions and makes you feel comfortable. He even joked around with me. I wish all doctors were more like him. Getting an appointment is a bit of a challenge . Waiting for a callback....That is the only down side. I suspect he is overloaded with patients. But it's worth the wait.
