Dr. Robert George Loeffler, MD

As a doctor, I would expect for Dr. Loeffler to abide by professional standards on how to treat his patients. Dr. Loeffler fell short of any type of standard when he met with us. There was no sense of commitment to my grandmother as a patient and breached confidentiality discussing her status of getting referred to them by a free clinic with someone else. There was no commitment to maintaining an appropriate relationship with my grandmother as a patient given the vulnerability and dependency my grandmother had by coming to get his consultation patients, but his focus apparently seemed to be personal financial gain.

This guy is horrible. He cuts patients off while they express what the problem is, LAUGHS at their concerns in a sarcastic and mean way, and does not give them proper treatment. I know several other people who have experienced the same treatment by him.An example of his not-so-stellar treatment: Once, I had dislocated my arm and was in so much pain, I BEGGED him for a sling or ANYTHING to take the pain away. He refused to give me a sling. Well, it turns out that it is actually recommended to give patients slings following such injuries to allow the ligaments to heal and avoid the possibility of dislocation again.His staff is even worse. The xray lady rarely offers aprons to her patients even though she is legally required to. If you ask her for an apron, you will hear the answer, "you don't need one" and face resistance before she finally gives in to your demands.He is the least caring doctor I have ever been to. I DO NOT recommend seeing him!

Yes, he is arrogant but he is a very good surgeon. He seems cold but deep down he really cares about his patients and never wants to cause any one pain. He does work magic when he operates.

He does not give you time or answer questions. He gave me shots in my knees that other doctors have said was ABSOLUTELY unnecessary given my situation. I wish I would have gotten second opinions. He did not even explain what he was giving me or why. This kind of care should not exist.
