Dr. Roger G Rosenstein, MD

My stepfather has been coming to this facility for a couple months now. I recently tried to help him set up an appointment and his online portal account, however the person who wrote the appointment and website handwriting was illegible. I called the office and spoke with one of the front staff members Silvia, she was extremely rude, unprofessional and racist. She did not notice I was still on speaker\line and made racist comments like "this is why I agree and Trumps needs to put up the wall, they need to be keep in the other side"the other staff members laughed at her comments until I advised her I was still on the line and hear everything she said. She denied everything and refused to transfer me to her supervisor or office manager multiple times. I do not appreciate this type of comments coming from "professionals" specially when my stepfather is paying for a services and treat them with respect.

Since I knew I'd be running late for my appointment with Dr. Rosenstein, I took the time to call the office to inform the staff in advance - and double-check to see if they wanted me to keep the appointment, or reschedule. However, my being a nice person in calling was responded to with derision and nastiness, making the experience a horrible one. Although told to come in after I made my courtesy call, I was insulted upon my arrival (in an office packed like sardines, with a line behind me!), and asked to not only write my name on the sign-in sheet, but write my "actual time of arrival," next to my originally-scheduled time, to punish me for the infraction! (Is this a kindergarten day school, or a professional doctor's office??). After I went along with that insult, the woman at the reception station argued with me when I asked her to use my new, current address, as opposed to the address on my drivers' license, she loudly admonished me to get my license changed (which has no relation… to anything happening with medical care, or the lack thereof) so that anyone in the waiting area or behind me in line could hear! If you want to be verbally abused, this is the doctor practice to go to. As for me, I wouldn't set foot in there again.

Dr. Rosenstein performed hand surgery on myself, my son and a good friend. I have full confidence in his abilities and honesty. He was recommended to me by other doctors who spoke highly of him and his reputation. The operating room nurses stressed that he is very detail-oriented, works very carefully and takes the required time necessary to obtain the optimal results.

My mom had a case of severe panarychia and I was calling the office since 9am. The first woman said the computers were down, but at least she was polite and said a new receptionist is supposed to come at 1pm. At 1:50pm that day I called the office again. The new receptionist who was obviously 50 minutes late to work was very rude and seemed like the last thing she wanted in life is to make appointments for patients, she said she's just walked in and to call 30 minutes later so she can take her time. She said the doctor is in but has to hand out slips (whatever that means) and that was at 3:30pm that day. Nobody called after that. I decided not to bother, since the doctors here obviously don't need patients.

I could barely move my wrist when I made the appointment and the first semi-workable appointment was 4 weeks away...as they only see new patients at specific times of the day - my chosen spot was 3pm. Received a direct reminder call from the office being told to arrive at least 15 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork and to bring necessary insurance information. I arrived promptly at 2:45 pm and then sat in the small, crowded waiting room for a full hour. Others patients entered after me and were taken in before and I was told there are two doctors and one spends more time with the patients, hence my wait - why not stagger the appointments differently then? Needless to say I was not ready to wait an additional 15 minutes and then another 30 in a room. I left unseen and still with a hurt wrist.
