Dr. Siegfried Otto Friedrich Schmidt, MD

Don't waste your time going to this doctor. He is too busy with his "research" and making a name for himself to actually care about patients. He doesn't follow the rules but expects patients to. Doesn't take responsibility for his actions but will blame others for mistakes. The staff in the clinic is incompetent, the clinical manager over this clinic is a bald faced liar and the administration cares nothing for the patient, they only care about their bottom line. I wish more people knew what a crock of s*** the University of Florida/Shands was.

I've been seeing Dr. Schmidt for about 15 years and would not see anyone else. He is the kindest, most considerate, caring, emphathetic, intelligent, physician I have ever known. He takes sufficient time with his patients to insure all of their issues are covered and to also insure they understand their course of treatment, etc. If he is a few minutes delayed seeing you because he spent time with the person ahead of you there are no issues with being pressed for time. He takes equally as much time with each patient. He is never rushed and gives you his full attention. I am fortunate to have found him for my physician and continue to be blessed by his excellent care and attention.

He is a brilliant doctor who knows how to handle any situation presented to him. He is professional while taking time to care for us so that we know how to follow up at home. He is a true blessing in our lives.
