Dr. Susan Marie Pacana, MD

Dr. Pacana is very knowledgeable, does not sugar coat stuff and speaks honestly to the patient. She may seem unapproachable and cold for some but me being a scientist, I found her objective, focused, honest in providing details and provided thoughtful response when I questioned her. She did not know that I was a scientist and it made me trust her all the more. She wastes no time but was always willing to answer our questions. If I had questions after the visit, I had to call the healthy woman office and usually I have received a response from Dr. Pacana within a day, maximum two days. If you want someone who would comfort you and make you feel better, Dr. Pacana is not a good match for you. If you want someone who is knowledgeable and explains things honestly and has what it takes to get you to do the necessary things, she is the right person to go to.

Lousy doctor. Does not show any interest to patient, so indifferent and pathetic, not sure why she is still on board healthy woman OB GYN Freehold NJ. Will ruin delivery and endanger life of new born. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from her & healthy woman OB GYN Freehold NJ . She seems technically deficient. My temperature was rising and water was broken still she did not recommend emergency C-Section. She also did not attend me in person during my delivery and sent the mid-wives instead. Lousy doctor.

I recently had an Essure done with Dr. Pacana in the office. I was so amazed at how smoothly and quickly the procedure went. I can't believe I was considering going under anesthesia or having major surgery for permanent birth control. I would recommend this to anyone!

wish I had read these reviews before I went there. Not a pleasant doctor. Office was outdated and dirty. Have been trying to settle my bill and billing won't answer calls or verify whether they have received my insurance information. Wouldn't recommend this practice or her to anyone.

Never bothered to contact me after mammogram showed a problem. Very difficult to contact. Showed very little concern.

Her bedside manner was horrible. It was as if I was bothering her with my visit. NEVER returned a phone call to me after a procedure she ordered.

Didn't like her at all. Found her cold and impersonal. Didn't seem to want to listen to me. She barely asked me any questions and I'm not so sure she knows what she's doing. She shooed me out in less than fifteen minutes. Needless to say I'm not comfortable with what she prescribed and will get second opinion. She didn't even call me by my name.
